CNY celebrations
Before the next chinese new year creeps any closer, here’s our celebrations with the SG community in sf. =)
The trio living together cooked up a big yummy meal for the actual 除夕(CNY eve), and a small group of us had a cosy dinner together.
KK posing with dish 1 of 3 that he cooked ^_^
YX diligently cutting up all the ingredients for the soup for the soul, made with blood, sweat and tears… =P (it became a long running teaser throughout the dinner). Of cos, needless to say, with all the goodies inside and the slow long hours of cooking, the soup was super-licious!

Chelsia’s chilli prawns

The healthy balance to the meal: veggies!

KK’s dish 1 – pork (i think it was 梅菜扣肉?)

KK’s dish 2 – chicken

KK’s dish 3 – steamed fish! (I love fish!)

Our little reunion dinner =)

Filled to the brim already.. but there’s more! Fruits, and later tea… woah!

~~~
CNY was long gone… but we had a belated mega-celebration in February, cos Raymond was home over the festive season and brought back CNY goodies and yusheng! Chinese new year is whenever we make it to be, rite?? >.<
Raymond professionally laying the salmon sashimi on the yusheng base – carrots and turnips which Phillips had put in much hard work shredding!!
After we each took turns to pour the sauces and nuts etc on top… presenting, our huge yusheng dish!
YYUUUMMM…. SENG! =) Cheers to a new year, everyone!
