Winter break mini-vacation part 1 - down south on highway 1~!
so finally... the pictures from our winter break trip! way long overdue, yes.. *oops*
school has simply been tooooo busy. there's always something due pretty soon. 3 more weeks to the end of spring quarter!! woot~!
20 dec: left our house in the morning ~10am, and drove our toyota corolla down highway 1. =) it was really great that gas fell to its lowest during that time, so driving down to vegas was a way much better deal! it turned out that our gas cost worked out to be less than 100 bucks, while a return air ticket for a single person would have already cost $120!
plus of cos, we wouldn't have done the highway 1 drive down south. =D

the viewpoint at the lighthouse... met this old chap who helps patrol/take care of the lighthouse area and he was telling us that whales can be sighted from here during the whale-watching season. =)

another memorable trip together in the making... this will count as winter break trip #4, heh. the days of meeting up during our undergrad winter breaks. =P
one can spend a whole day simply chilling out and enjoying mother nature...
and soon, the sun started setting... we did see most of the nicest parts, but we still had about 1 hour's drive out of highway 1 in the dark... =P
