home furnishings complete!
As of 2 weeks ago, our house was complete! The final few additions to our house - dining table and chairs, coffee+end table, and our dresser! All thanks to craigslist, of course (oh thank goodness i'm done with the countless hours of craigslist stalking...... *bleahz*)
At least now we're done for the next few years with house-hunting, furnishing, etcetcetc... and it's time to enjoy our cosy little home! =D
Presenting:
Our Scandinavian Designs glass dining table and micro-suede dining chairs. woot~! amazingly huge table (2.4m by 1.2m) which has void the need for an additional study table. Very pretty indeed!
The funniest thing about it is how we somehow managed to drag it up to our apartment. Certainly did not expect the glass top to be ridiculously heavy... both of us could not lift it up and carry it. Thankfully for the blankets that were present in the truck we rented, we managed to drag the glass piece (on the blankets) down the hallway, into the lift, and somehow pivoted/dragged/pushed the glass into the house. *pant*

Our coffee and end table - hunted for quite long before striking this deal! and it's matching to our dining table too!!
