the earth is spinning too fast...
i think scientists say that the earth spins around its central axis at a constant pace, and rotates around the sun in a regular orbit.
i think those scientists are lying.
the world is obviously spinning very much faster these days, which forms a reasonable explanation for my topsy turvy perception of life, the universe and everything. it is disaster enough to be without me thinking pad for two weeks as its innards is abused by foreign objects time after time.
worse is transplanting my life to another apt, all familiar yet strangely different. this reminds me of a goosebumps story where a guy woke up and found himself in an eerie world of mirrored pple. friends with left parted hair became right, right-handeds became left etc.
more worse is SBC formerly part of AT&T (mother bell) now swallowed by AT&T (pregnant bell) screwing up my internet and leaving me a thief, stealing precious thinband from my poor unsuspecting neighbour who may well be running network packet sniffers on any unsuspecting thiefy assholes like myself. damn u neighbour.
no internet means no internet means no girlfriend (almost). when can i see her and chat with her again?
availability of internet is just a physcial manifestation of something more deadly. im becoming too busy for my girl. im too busy for homework. im too busy for my friends. im too busy to study for midterms. im too busy for myself. im still trying to figure out what/who im actually busy with.
today is may 8. to me. the rest of the world is gonna insist its may 9 since its well past midnight. but who cares. its week 6. sungod week. a birthday coming up. it was 'supposed' to be a non-study weekend. next week is midterms week. week 8 is lull before the storm. best time of the year, with graduation dinner and last long weekend, memorating myself and my foolish acts for the year. week 9 is visit by jas. week 10 is for last min regrets, for not studying, for not playing, for not doing anything, for not living, and for not 42. and of cuz, all weeks are interspesed with midterms and quizzes non-stop.
whats the point of being alive if you are not living? "for the promise of life".
i hope that promise is worth its weight in dreams.
